How do I override my availability for specific dates?
If you need to adjust your availability for specific dates, iClosed offers a Date Override feature that allows to override your weekly hours on specific days without affecting your regular schedule
What Happens When I Add a Date Override?
The scheduler will prioritize the overridden hours for booking events on the specified dates. If no override is set for a date, the scheduler will revert to your regular weekly availability.
Steps to Override Your Availability:
Go to AI Scheduler -> Availability. Your current weekly availability will be displayed in the "Set your availability" section.
Add a Date Override: n the Date-specific hours section on the right, click on + Add a date override.
A dialog will open:
1. Select the specific date(s) you want to override.
2. Enter the custom availability hours for those dates
The scheduler will prioritize the overridden hours for booking events on the specified dates.
Example: If your regular availability is 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM for Thursday(s), but you override it to 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM on August 22, 2024 (Thursday), the scheduler will use the evening hours for bookings on that date only.
Manage Multiple Overrides:
You can add multiple overrides by repeating the above steps.
All your date overrides will be listed in the Date-specific hours section. From there, you can edit or delete them as needed.
