Advance Filters
How Advance filter works?
In iClosed's advanced filter system, "AND" and "OR" logic, along with "All of" and "Any of" options, enable users to create complex filter combinations for refining data views.
"AND" logic requires all specified conditions to be met for a data entry to be included in the filtered results. For example, if you filter by "Country is United Kingdom" AND "Status is Potential," only contacts with both conditions fulfilled will appear.
"OR" logic broadens the filter criteria, requiring only one of the specified conditions to be met for a data entry to be included in the results. For instance, if you filter by "Country is United Kingdom" OR "Country is Canada," contacts from either country will be included in the results.
"All of" is similar to "AND" logic, requiring all conditions specified within a single filter to be met simultaneously. It's used when applying multiple criteria within one filter, ensuring that all specified conditions are true for a data entry to be included.
"Any of" is similar to "OR" logic, allowing for multiple criteria within one filter but requiring only one of them to be met for a data entry to be included in the results.
Smart Views
Smart views in iClosed are a feature that allows users to save and apply customized sets of filters to refine their data views efficiently. Users can see their saved smart view filters listed for quick access. By selecting a smart view filter, users can apply the associated subfilters to the global data. They can delete smart view filters, update them with new conditions, or create new filters based on existing ones. The search bar allows users to easily find and apply smart view filters wherever advanced filters are available in iClosed.
