Integration with Close

How to integrate Close.com with iClosed. It explains how to configure the integration, map fields between the two platforms, and provides examples of potential triggers and outcomes. 1 . Navigate to https://app.iclosed.io/app/settings/integrations

2. Click "Connect" on Close integration card

3. Click "Integrate"

4. If you are already logged in to your close account you will be routed here to grant access. Select your account name on Close.com "iClosed" from the dropdown

5. Click "Allow"

6. "You will be directed to iClosed to complete your configuration.

You have two options for completing this process:

  1. Automatic Integration: iClosed will automatically map the fields to Close. This is a quicker option, but there is a chance of incorrect mapping.

OR

2. Manual Field Mapping: You can manually map your iClosed data to Close.com custom fields.

7. In the dropdown menu, the fields are retrieved from Close. You can select which field in Close you want to map with iClosed.

8. You can also add custom fields. Click "+ Add Custom Field"

9. Add a custom field name and Click create field. iClosed will create that custom field on close.com

10. Now you can map the recently added custom field on close as in our case "Host Email"

11. On the Close.com card you can click "View Configuration" to see your recently done integration and you can edit it as well

13. Potential Contact Trigger Now go to one of your events and fill the form but do not press Continue button

14. Now go to Close.com account and you will see the contact is generated with potential status

15. You can see the event name is also added as custom field

16. Strategy Call Booked Now fill the remaining fields and book a call

17. Go back to Close and on the same contact; you can see all the details and now the contact status is set to Strategy call booked

18. You can see all the details are sent to Close.com

There are also other Triggers that iClosed is providing

19. Cancellation Trigger: In the event of a call cancellation, the trigger will activate and subsequently update the lead's status.

20. Rescheduling Trigger: In the event of a call reschedule, the trigger will activate and subsequently update the lead's status.
