How to prevent spam/fake bookings on my scheduler?
Control who can be added to the Global data by blocking leads coming from specific IP or Email addresses automatically
Lead IP/Email Blocking: Control who can be added to the Global data by blocking leads coming from specific IP or Email addresses automatically.
Applying blocking on a particular lead's email or IP will prevent that lead from booking calls, regardless of any event. This blocking will be applied to the lead for all events within your organization, not for a specific event
Steps to Block Leads:
Accessing Contact Card:
As an admin, navigate to Global Data.
Open the contact card of the lead you want to block.
Select Blocking Method:
In the contact card, you'll find email & IP address of the lead.
If you choose to block via email, copy the email address from the contact card.
If you prefer to block via IP, copy the IP address from the contact card.
Navigate to IP Blocking:
Go to the Tracking section
Select Blocking tab.
Add New Entry:
Click on the option to add a new entry.
Choose whether you want to block based on email or IP address.
Paste the copied email address or IP address.
Save the changes.
Blocked leads/prospects will not appear in the Global Data. Once you remove the restriction or blocking from a lead, that lead will automatically be moved to your Global Data -> Contacts
If you block an IP address, any email from that particular IP address will be blocked.
Blocking an email address will only prevent that specific email address from being added to the Global data. If a user enters a different email from the same IP, it will not be blocked.
