User roles can be deleted only if they are not assigned to any user.
Navigate to
Settings → User Management → RolesCheck if the role has users assigned to it
If yes, go back to Users and change the role for these specific users assigned to the role you'd like to delete
If there are no users assigned to the role, click on the "Delete" button
Confirmation window will appear, and once you select "Yes", selected role will be deleted
