How to connect iClosed with your Slack workspace

Updated today

iClosed is in the process of registering as an official app partner on Slack marketplace, but the direct integration is available already.
Send information directly to your Slack workspace in few simple steps, without putting extra effort in building workflows via Zapier or Make.

Pro tips

Slack, as any other app available on the Integrations page can be connected by any iClosed user with "Integration" permission access (Super Admin by default).

One iClosed account can be connected to the one Slack workspace only.

How to connect

Navigate to Integrations page and click the "Connect" button to start.
New window will appear from where you will be able to:

  1. Initiate integration by clicking on the "Integrate" button

  2. New window will appear for you to choose your Slack workspace and to accept all access permissions for iClosed

  3. Integration configuration page will appear from where you'll be able to:

    1. Select Event/s you'd like to send data from

    2. Lead and/or call statuses

      1. Lead statuses: Potential, Qualified, Disqualified, Strategy or Discovery call booked

      2. Call statuses: Call rescheduled or Call cancelled

    3. To which Slack channel/s you'd like to send data from iClosed

      1. Select one or multiple channels per lead/call status

  4. Click on "Save Changes" button to finish integration

As soon as the integration is saved, activity page will appear from which you'll be able to see following:

  • Total notifications sent

  • Last notification sent for event

  • Date and time of the last notification sent

Pro tips

  • Lead status notifications will be sent with a 5 minute delay to provide time for a lead to goes through the form and to prevent duplicate notifications.

  • Slack triggers are available only when a contact is created from the scheduling page, meaning that data when the contact is updated from
Global Data will not be sent.

  • In case you have integrated Slack directly with iClosed and still have webhooks set via Zapier or Make, please turn them off to prevent overloading your Slack channels with duplicate data.

How to send data to channel that is not appearing on Slack channel drop-down list

Slack channel may not appear by default if it was created by a specific user that is not a workspace admin. You'll be able to to override this easily, by adding iClosed app in that specific Slack channel:
