How to add existing deal product while adding a Sale call outcome?

Learn how to edit existing deal with "Sale" outcome or how to change from "Sale" to "No Sale"

Pro tips

This guide is applicable to all Sale outcomes:

Adding new Sale outcome or editing Sale outcome covers following scenarios

  • you're adding a new Sale outcome or

  • you've already set a Sale outcome, but you realized you need to edit it and connect with a previous deal or

  • you're changing from No Sale to Sale

Editing from Sale to No Sale scenario

  • you're editing Sale outcome to No Sale


Adding new Sale outcome or editing Sale outcome

  1. Navigate to AI Scheduler → Scheduled Calls → Past Calls

  2. Find a call where you need to add or edit outcome

  3. Choose next step depending if Sale outcome has been added already or you're adding a new one (adding an outcome flow - step #4, is going to be the same for both):

    1. New outcome → Click on Add Outcome

    2. Edit already added outcome → Click to expand → select "Edit Outcome" button next to "Sale" tag (Video bellow shows this scenario)

  4. Select "Sale" outcome and add Objection and Note
    If you're editing already added outcome, copy previous note to avoid typing it from scratch

  5. Click on Product to see all available products and select it

  6. Update Deal value if needed

  7. Update Payment type if needed:

    1. Won → First time customer in iClosed.
      it will affect your closing rate

    2. Recurring → Returning customer, or the one you already had in your pipeline as a customer on an ongoing subscription plan.
      It will not affect your closing rate

    3. Deposit → Customer didn't pay the service in full or deposited an amount for future purchase to be completed.
      It affects your engagement rate.

  8. Hit "Add Outcome" and updates will appear appear under Deal Details, in Call details

Editing from Sale to No Sale

  1. Navigate to AI Scheduler → Scheduled Calls → Past Calls

  2. Find a call where you need to add or edit outcome

  3. Edit already added outcome → Click to expand → select "Edit Outcome" button next to "Sale" tag

  4. Select No Sale outcome

  5. Select No Sale Reason and add Note
    (If follow up call is selected, you will have two options, to add outcome immediately or to add it after you book a follow up call)

  6. Updates will show on the Call details card, with objection, new tag, and No Sale outcome

If you enter to Lead contact card, you'll see that the Journey tab will show log with all updates on lead journey, while Deal tab will show no deals.
