Can I have different time zones for separate events in one iClosed account?

or How can I set different availability times and time zones for one user seat

Updated over a week ago

Case: The two of us are using one seat, within one iClosed account but we're available during different times since we're in two different time zones.
How can we set different events or different times for the same events?

Unfortunately, we don't have the separate availability settings within one user seat.
But there is a workaround that can be applied for this case.

Time zone 1 = time zone of user 1 → located in e.g. CET

Time zone 2 = time zone of user 2 → located in e.g. PST

Time allocation to markets is 50:50, total working hours 10 hours/day

For this case we advise using one email, that will be accessible to both users and agree internally which time zone is going to be the primary one for both (iClosed, setup wise).

  1. Select time zone according to Time Zone you agreed on

  2. Set Availability times with different blocks of time, for serving both time zones equally
e.g. brother 1 = CET from 8am to 1pm (which is night time in PST)
and brother 2 = set PST from 5pm to 10pm CET (which is morning time PST)

Kindly note that Availability set will affect all Events created.
CET leads will be able to schedule times within PST time zone as well, since both CET and PST leads will be able to see both time blocks.

In this case, it's up to you to organize internally to ensure all leads have been served.

Pro Tips

Bear in mind that this kind of a setup is not a long term solution and we advise keeping availability setup separated between user seats.

Main reasons are that there's no additional setup that you need to take care about within one user seat account, you'd be able to keep leads separated, and most importantly, track outcomes and analytics separately.

Business and Enterprise subscription plans have up to 5 user seats included, while Startup plans have 1 seat included (see detailed pricing breakdown here).

Both plans can be upgraded by adding additional seats at extra cost.
