How to set up my availability if my invitees are in a different time zone than the time zone I'm in?

Learn about ways to set up your scheduler correctly if you're connecting with leads in different time zones

Updated today

Case example: Customer lives in Europe - Central European Time (CET), but serving customers in USA (Pacific Time Zone)

There are two options for the setup, depending on what works for you better.

#1 - Organizing scheduler per the market time zone

This option is better if you are serving single market in time zone, that is different than yours.

Time zone 1 = time zone you're located in (e.g. CET) and

Time zone 2 = time zone of the market you're serving (e.g. PST)

  1. Set time zone according to Time Zone 2

  2. Set Availability times according to the market time zone, when you expect your leads to book slots in their time

Note that Availability set will affect all Events created.

Check scheduling page and it will automatically read your actual time, meaning that will show you when do you need to be available, in your time zone, for the slots of the market you're serving.

Great thing about this type of setup are the booking notifications your leads will be receiving, will show time zone set in availability, which is more convenient for them.

But, in case you're serving multiple time zones, especially, market in your own time zone, it's advisable to set up Availability time zone per example #2 below.

#2 Organizing and setting up scheduler according to your time zone, when serving in multiple markets

This option is better if you are serving within several different markets, in your time zone and time zone different than yours.

Time zone 1 = time zone you're located in ( e.g. CET)

Time zone 2 = time zone of the market you're serving (e.g. PST)

Time allocation to markets is 50:50, total working hours 10 hours/day

  1. Select time zone according to Time Zone 1 (your time)

  2. Set Availability times:

    1. If possible, find time where time zones are overlapping

    2. If not, set different blocks of time, for serving both time zones equally
e.g. CET from 8am to 1pm (which is night time in PST)
and set PST from 5pm to 10pm CET (which is morning time PST)

Note that Availability set will affect all Events created.

Check scheduling page and you'll see different blocks of time in your time zone.

But, also please bear in mind that CET leads will be able to schedule times within PST time zone as well, since both CET and PST leads will be able to see both time blocks.
