Day 1: Your funnel Is Leaking Sales

Step ONE - The Architectural Flaw Nobody Talks About

Updated this week

Calendly. Cal.com, Acuity. GHL's native calendar - They all make the same mistake: calendar first, capture second.

The lead browses times, picks one, then enters their info. If they get distracted before picking a time - phone rings, Slack dings, kids walks in - they close the tab.

You never get their name. Their email. Their phone. They're gone.

30-50% of people who start booking never finish. That's half your pipeline disappearing.

iClosed Flips the Script

We capture their info BEFORE they see the calendar. Name. Email. Phone. Qualifying questions. Then the calendar.

  • If they book → you have a meeting

  • If they drop off → you still have a lead to follow up with

These are your Extra Leads. Pure profit - because you already paid to acquire them.

Here's Your Plan For Today (takes 10 min)

Step 1: Connect Your Calendar

Before creating events, connect your Google Calendar so iClosed can check for conflicts and add bookings automatically.

  1. Go to AI Scheduler → Calendar

  2. Click "Connect Google Calendar"

  3. Choose your Google account and grant permissions

  4. Select which calendar to add iClosed bookings to

Learn more about Calendar connections page.

Step 2: Set Your Availability

  1. Go to AI Scheduler → Availability

  2. Select your time zone
(leads see slots converted to their time zone as per setup here)

  3. Set your working hours for each day

  4. Use the "+" button to add multiple time blocks per day if needed

  5. Click Save

Learn more about Availability here.

Step 3: Create Your Event

  1. Go to AI Scheduler → Events

  2. Click "Create New Event"

  3. Name it to match your offer ("Strategy Call", "Free Audit", "Demo")

  4. Add location (Phone, Google Meet, or Zoom)

  5. Set duration

  6. Click Save & Continue

Learn more about Event creation here.

Step 4: Set Up Your Form Fields (Invitee Questions)

iClosed shows primary questions first (phone/email + name), captures the lead, then shows secondary questions.

  1. In your event, click Invitee Questions in the left sidebar

  2. Primary questions are set by default (Phone/Email + Name)

  3. Add 1-2 qualifying questions using Radio Button or Checkbox types

Pro tips

Use radio buttons, not plain text fields. Why? Radio buttons let you:

  • Disqualify based on answers

  • Route leads to different closers

  • Create scheduling cohorts

Example question: "What's your monthly revenue?" with options:

  • Under $10K

  • $10K - $50K

  • $50K - $100K

  • $100K+

Learn more about Invitee Questions here.

Step 5: Embed + Go Live

  1. Find your event and click "Embed"

  2. Choose Inline embed (loads on page) or Pop-up via click (opens on button click)

  3. Copy the code

  4. Paste in your funnel (GHL, ClickFunnels, WebFlow, WordPress, Framer)

Step 6: Final step → Test It

  1. Open your funnel in incognito

  2. Fill in your info (use test email)

  3. Pick a time and complete booking

  4. Go to Global Data - you should see yourself as a contact

If you see your test contact you're live. The leak is plugged.

✅ Day 1 Complete

From this moment:

  • Your calendar is live and embedded

  • Every lead that hits your page gets captured

  • Extra Leads will appear in Global Data within hours

Action takers don’t wait, they make moves. There’s nothing stopping you from starting day 2 now. The sooner you do, the sooner you’ll close your next deal.
