Connect your Calendar - Google or Outlook

Learn how to connect your calendar with iClosed and why its important

iClosed Calendars is the page where you can connect your personal or work calendars with schedule, so events, availability, and bookings are in perfect sync. We're offering two integration options:

  • Google Calendar

  • Outlook Calendar

Connecting the calendar is important, as once you do it, you will be able to:

  • get updates about your new bookings on your connected calendar

  • check for availability conflicts

  • automatically generate Google Meet link as the location of your event (with Google calendar)

  • send email reminders from host Gmail that you can set up in Event Notifications and Workflows

Here's a quick video on how to connect Google Calendar.

  2. Select Google or Outlook calendar first

  3. Contunue with the log in process as explained in the previous article sections

Once connection is done, newly added calendar will appear automatically in the "Check for conflicts" section.

And that's it. All your new bookings will be added to the selected calendar.

Pro Tips

You will be able to connect only one main calendar where events will be stored from iClosed.

Additional calendars can be included for conflict checks, and it can be Google or Outlook both.

Editing Add to calendar option

Once you've added additional calendar to your iClosed account, you can choose which one will be the main one for storing iClosed events into it.

In case you'd like to switch primary calendar, click on the "Edit" button inside of the Add to Calendar section and select any calendar from the dropdown per your preference.

Check for Conflicts option

If you use multiple calendars, or you have sub-calendars created in your main Calendar, you can hand-pick which calendar specifically you'd like to be checked against conflicts.

Checking against calendar conflicts configuration is important as it directly affects your availability. Here's how you can configure it:

  1. Click on Edit button in Check for conflicts section

  2. Select the calendar(s) or sub calendar(s) you want to keep checking

But, please be careful as having too many calendars connected and selected to be checked against conflicts may drasticaly reduce number of available slots during the day.
