New Global Data & Data Intelligence Features ✨

Discover powerful Global Data upgrades and new Data Intelligence features built for smarter qualification and effortless data management with iClosed v3.5.0

Updated this week

Your Global Data just got super-powers and it's more customizable then ever with new UI and management easiness, along with new Data Intelligence features that help your sales team qualify leads faster and smarter.

Let's dive into it, section by section.

Data Intelligence

iClosed Data Intelligence is a collection of real-time verification and qualification features designed to improve lead quality, protect sales resources, and optimize decision-making before a lead books a call.

  • Email Validation

  • Phone Number Validation

  • Credit Score & Debt-To-Income (DTI) check

Data Intelligence features can be turned on for any Event.

Email Validation

Email Validation checks whether an email address is real, deliverable, and safe before the lead proceeds through the funnel. It evaluates signals such as:

  • Deliverability status

  • Disposable or role-based emails

  • Domain quality and reputation

  • Toxicity risk and confidence score

Email Validation acts as an early quality gate and is often used as the first checkpoint to stop spam and invalid leads while saving credits by skipping downstream checks when an email is invalid.

Learn more about Email Validation here.

Phone Number Validation

Phone Number Validation verifies whether a lead’s phone number is real, reachable, and usable as soon as it is entered on the form. It identifies key attributes such as:

  • Number validity

  • Country and carrier

  • Line type (mobile, landline, VOIP)

  • Prepaid vs. postpaid status

Phone Validation is commonly used to block fake or uncontactable leads, prevent spam submissions, and ensure that only reachable prospects can progress or book calls.

Learn more about Phone Number Validation here.

Credit Score Check & Usage Guard

Credit Score Check evaluates a lead’s creditworthiness and financial risk based on available credit data. It returns structured signals such as:

  • Credit Score range

  • Debt-To-Income (DTI) ratio

  • Risk categories used for qualification or routing

But that's not all - iClosed added a Usage Guard feature for Credit Score check that deactivates credit score check if there're too many request within minutes or hours, to prevent any spikes in costs during webinars or high-volume traffic.

Learn more about Credit Score feature here.

Disqualification & Conditional Routing Per Credit Score Results

Credit Score

A numeric credit score, that will fit in predefined credit score range (300 to 850) available for the Disqualification and/or Conditional Routing criteria:

  • 300-579 = Very Bad

  • 580-669 = Fair

  • 670-739 = Good

  • 740-799 = Very Good

  • 800-850 = Excellent

Credit Score + Debt-To-Income ratio:

Debt-to-income (DTI) measures how much of a person’s monthly income goes toward paying debt.

The DTI formula = (Total Monthly Debt Payments ÷ Gross Monthly Income) × 100

It’s expressed as a percentage and is commonly used in credit and risk evaluation and here're the predefined ranges available for the Disqualification and/or Conditional Routing criteria:

  • 51%+ = High Debt Load

  • 44-50% = High Exposure

  • 37-43% = Moderate

  • 36% or less = Healthy

Credits

iClosed uses a centralized wallet to manage Credits across all usage-based features. Instead of paying fixed fees, Credits are deducted only when a feature is actually used. Credits will be used for pay-per-use features, such as:

New Global Data

The new Global Data experience in iClosed gives you more control, clarity, and speed when managing contacts at scale with Contact Stages as brand new feature.

It’s designed to help teams organize leads visually, move faster through workflows, and focus on what matters most, without losing context or flexibility.

Learn more about Global Data here.

All Contacts Section

All Contacts is the main workspace within Global Data where you can view, organize, and act on every contact across your account in one place.

It's organized into three main tabs Contacts, Calls, and Deals, each designed to give you a different perspective on your data, without duplication or confusion.

  • Contacts - Each contact appears only once, based on a unique email address and/or phone number

  • Calls - displays all call activity. Each row represents a single call and a contact may appear multiple times if they have multiple calls

  • Deals - shows all deals closed across your account as Sale outcome where each row represents a single deal

Learn more about All Contacts Section here.

Appointment Setting Section

The Appointment Setting view is a dedicated workspace designed for appointment setters to efficiently manage and qualify leads that have not yet booked a call.

This section is a smart, pre-filtered version of the Contacts table, showing only leads with scheduling statuses such as Potential, Qualified, or Disqualified, from where you can update the Contact Stage based on the outcome of your conversation:

  • Approved → instantly unlocks the Book a call action

  • Other stages (e.g. Nurturing, Budget Issue, Engaged) → reflect disqualification or follow-up status

Contact Stages

Contact Stages provide a structured, pipeline-style way to organize and act on your leads throughout their lifecycle.

This section appears in the left-side menu as a dynamic variation of the Contacts view, where contacts are automatically grouped and filtered based on the Contact Stages you define in Settings → Tracking → Contact Stages.

Contact Stages are organized into three high-level pipeline categories that represent where the lead stands in your business lifecycle:

  • Active

  • Lost

  • Won

Each pipeline contains multiple stages, that are customizable:

Active

Purpose: Qualification, Outreach, Call booking, Lead Nurturing

  1. New Lead

  2. Approved - will trigger “Book a Call” as per default setup

  3. Nurturing

  4. Contacted

  5. Follow-Up Scheduled

  6. Engaged

Lost

Purpose: Clear disqualification reasons, Clean pipeline hygiene, Better reporting & optimization

  1. Rejected

  2. Ghosting

  3. Budget Issue

  4. No Decision

  5. Not a Fit

Won

Purpose: Post-conversion tracking, Customer lifecycle visibility, Upsell and retention workflows

  1. Customer

  2. Onboarded

  3. Premium Client

Each Contact Stage can have action Call Booked assigned to it, and can be added or removed as per your preference except "Approved" Contact Stage that has action “Book a Call” for Appointment Setting purposes.

Other Global Data Improvements

Alongside the major updates to Contacts, Appointment Setting, and Contact Stages, Global Data now includes several powerful usability and customization upgrades designed to speed up daily workflows and keep teams focused.

Quick Filters, Smart Views & Folders

  • Pin up to 15 favorite filters directly in the filters sidebar. No need to rebuild or search for filters every time - your most-used filters are always one click away.

  • Create advanced filtered views using multiple conditions (AND / OR / groups). Save Smart Views for one-click access to frequently used data sets and access them from the left side menu.

  • Organize views into Folders to keep large teams and workflows structured.

Columns

A more interactive and intuitive Columns dropdown across Contacts, Calls, and Deals or any other view in Global Data.

  • Show or hide any available data point per section.

  • Highlight columns with custom colors to draw attention to key fields
(e.g. Contact Stage, Scheduling Status, Credit Results).

  • Customize each table layout independently based on team needs.

Learn more about Global Data Columns here.

Custom Objects & Fields

In addition to standard columns, you can create custom fields to capture extra information your team cares about. Supported field types include:

  • Short text – quick notes or labels

  • Date – important milestones or follow-up dates

  • Single select – one predefined option

  • Multiple select – multiple predefined options

  • User – assign ownership or responsibility

  • Email – store additional email addresses

  • URL – links to external resources

  • Rating – quick qualitative scoring

Contact Card Updates

The Contact Card has been upgraded to give your team full visibility, faster decisions, and clearer qualification context - all in one place, from contact level.

Left side section - Contact Stage Management

Managing contact stages is now available from Contact Card as well, which enables reps and setters to qualify leads without leaving the contact view:

  • Contact Stage dropdown directly on the contact card

  • Instantly move contacts between stages like New Lead, Approved, Nurturing, Contacted, Engaged, etc.

  • Stages with actions (e.g. Approved → Book a Call) surface the next step immediately

Journey Updates

The Journey tab now acts as a complete activity timeline for each contact, showing exactly what happened, when, and why. This creates a single source of truth for understanding how and why a lead progressed or dropped off.

  • Automatic contact stage changes with user attribution

  • Disqualification reasons and criteria (e.g. credit score ranges, rules triggered)

  • Email & phone validation events, including validation results

  • Credit check activity, credits used, and timestamps

Top right - New tab Credit Score & DTI Insights

A brand-new Credit Check & DTI section gives instant financial context. All financial intelligence is now accessible at a glance, right where decisions are made.

  • Credit score range with visual indicator (e.g. 580–669 · Fair)

  • Pre-qualification status (Qualified / Non-Qualified)

  • Credit limit, pre-approval amount, and debt resolution data

  • Clear visibility into credits consumed for each check

Other Updates

Reschedule with the same host option

A new Events Time & Limits option gives you more control over how rescheduling works → Reschedule with the same Host. When this option is enabled:

  • The rescheduling link will prioritize the originally booked host (closer)

  • The contact will first see only that closer’s availability

  • If the original host is unavailable, the system will automatically show availability from all event hosts

This ensures continuity, preserving relationship continuity between lead and closer, reduces internal confusion and reassignment while keeping bookings flexible without blocking reschedules.

Learn more about Event Time & Limits here.

Invitee Questions - field renaming

We’ve improved Invitee Questions to make field types clearer:

  • Radio fields are now renamed to Single Select

  • Checkbox fields are now renamed to Multi Select

Learn more about Invitee Questions here.

Disqualification & Conditional Routing Per Time Zones

In addition to Credit Score and DTI-based rules, iClosed now lets you disqualify and route leads based on their time zone.

Time zone rules add an extra layer of control when you want to prevent leads from booking calls outside your operating hours or target regions.

This works perfectly alongside phone country code Disqualification, but goes one step further by showing slots in leads time zone with Conditional Routing.

Disqualification by time zone

  • Automatically block leads from specific time zones

  • Prevent bookings from regions you don’t currently serve

Conditional routing by time zone

  • Route leads to closers who are available in the lead’s local time

  • Ideal for teams operating across multiple markets and regions

Learn more about Conditional Routing here.

Sending Workflow Emails From Host Email Address

You can now send workflow emails directly from the host’s email address, in addition to no-reply@iclosed.io.

The host email used for this action is the one connected on the Calendar Connections page. This upgrade gives your workflows a personal touch while keeping all automation fully intact.

Learn more about Workflows here.
